Kelly Higgs
Kelly Higgs translates a fascination with flowers, combined with historical references to the tradition of botanical illustration, into beautiful and sensitive watercolour paintings.
Kelly, who began painting at an early age, grew up on a farm in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. Having spent many years as a graphic designer working in the advertising and design industries in London and South Africa, Kelly returned to painting full-time and held her first exhibition in 2003. She currently lives and works in the U.K.
